- Believe it or not, I am actually a "Native" Floridian. Not too many people can say that as most of the folks I meet are from elsewhere!
Caladesi Island is located North of Clearwater beach and is only accessible by private boat or via the Caladesi Ferry Connection. The island has a beautiful marina which will accommodate jet skis, boats, and yachts. There are bathrooms with showers, a snack bar, and a pristine white sand beach that has been voted Americas #1 Beach. Kayaks are available for rent to paddle through the mangroves and the bay.

If you are on vacation in the Tampa Bay area, I strongly recommend checking out Caladesi Island.
